Ideal for frying, braising, cooking, and baking. Suitable for all types of stovetops and also for the oven.
Advantages of high-quality cast iron:
Excellent heat conductivity. It heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly over the entire surface of the pot. It retains the temperature even after turning off the heat source, keeping the food warm until serving.
Resistant to high temperatures up to 260°C.
Long lifespan and resistance against wear and tear.
Advantages of the enamelled surface:
Protects cast iron from oxidation and corrosion.
Thanks to the non-stick surface, it is easy to clean and does not absorb fat or odors. It is sufficient to wash it with a mild detergent and warm water. We do not recommend washing it in the dishwasher.
Healthier cooking with a minimal amount of oil (although it is advisable to thinly coat the entire bottom of the pot).
Although the enamelled surface of the cast iron pot has many advantages, it is important to handle it carefully to avoid scratching or chipping the enamel. Before rinsing, allow the pot to cool down, as a sudden temperature shock could damage the enamel.
